4-H Sewing Day Camp to be held during spring break

Bryan County 4-Her’s and youth, ages 9 and older, who are interested in learning how to sew are invited to attend the 4-H Sewing Day Camp to be held during spring break. Youth will sew and complete a simple pillowcase. This sewing project will be fun and easy to construct. The sewing day camp will be taught by Tommie M. James, FCS & 4-H Extension Educator and members of the Bryan County Home & Community Education (OHCE).

The sewing day camp will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Clay Jones Community Center, in Durant. Pre-registration is required, with a deadline of Monday, March 13th. There is a limited class space, so enroll today! To enroll in the youth sewing day camp, to reserve a sewing machine if needed and for a supply list, you will need to contact the Bryan County OSU Extension Office by calling (580) 924-5312.
