A Durant man was injured Thursday when he drove his pickup into the path of a semi truck, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Fifty-eight-year-old Michael Williams was flown to Plano Medical Center where he is being treated for a head injury. He was listed in stable condition at the time of the OHP report.
OHP said Williams was northbound on a county road west of Durant when he failed to yield from a stop sign and drove out in front of a Peterbilt semi traveling west on Highway 70 driven by 36-year-old Ricky Belt of Poteau.
Belt was not injured.
