Two people arrested on the Sunday have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Forty-four-year-old Bradley David Goza and 39-year-old Chrisandra Renee Pogue, alias Chrisandra Renae Reeves, both of Colbert, were charged Tuesday.
According to court documents, Colbert Police seized 214.32 grams of methamphetamine after raiding a Franklin Street home.
They were also charged with felony possession of a police radio in the commission of a felony and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The residence was searched after receiving a tip.
According to court records, Goza has a prior felony conviction for possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony in relation to drug trafficking and was sentenced in 2004 to 63 months in federal prison.
Pogue has prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
In other news, Durant firefighters have snuffed out several small fires.
They were dispatched Monday to 902 Hillcrest Ave. where they put out a brush fire that was contained to a 20 x 30 foot area.
They responded to another brush fire Monday on Cemetery Road and that fire was contained to a 20 x 20 foot area, according to a DFD report.
Also on Monday, firefighters put out a 30 x 30 foot grass fire near the roadside in front of Herron’s Carpet on Bryan Drive.
Friday evening, they responded to Save-A-Lot, 917 W. Main St., where there was an electrical short on a cooler. They remained on scene until an electrician arrived.
