Students from the SE Head Start Program learned about bike safety and rode their tricycles for St. Jude Children’s Hospital Tuesday morning.

The students learn each year bike safety and about St. Jude Children’s hospital and the work the hospital does with children who have cancer.

Tuesday morning, the children participated in SE Head Start’s annual Trike-a-Thon. The children have been collecting donations over the past several weeks to sponsor laps around Dixon Durant Park in Durant.

All proceeds from the Trike-a-Thon go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. There were 15 children who raised a collective $624.17 for the hospital this year.
