The body of a man found Wednesday morning on the Southeastern Oklahoma State University has been identified.
SE Campus Police identified the man as Raul J. Trevino, 37, Durant. Trevino was not a student, according to the university.
“His body was discovered at approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, near the university tennis courts on the south perimeter of campus, SE Police Chief Stacy Ballew said in a statement. “The body has been sent to Oklahoma City for autopsy. We are waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death, which may take several days.’’
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation first handled the case but then turned it back over to SE after concluding there was no evidence of foul play involved in Trevino’s death.
