OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded this month for road improvements in Bryan County, Sen. Josh Brecheen and Rep. Dustin Roberts recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project will involve resurfacing more than seven miles of Caddo Highway from the Atoka County line and extending south.
Brecheen (R-Coalgate) said the State Transportation Commission awarded a $1.58 million contract on the project to the Cummins Construction Company. The Enid company was the lowest of three bidders for the job, said Roberts (R-Durant).
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within two months.
