Several individuals, organizations and businesses pulled together to raise funds for Durant Police Reserve and Choctaw Nation security supervisor Clayton Yarbrough.


Yarbrough has served in the Durant Police Reserves for the past nine years and was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is undergoing treatment.


The event included a donation rummage sale, bake sale, silent auction and bounce house. The event also featured a money machine in which participant could win cash or coupons.


Food and shopping vendor were also present to support the cause. A blood-mobile was accepting blood donations for Yarbrough’s treatment as well.
