Bryan County Conference baseball is dominating the top 10 in Class 2A, with four local teams among the top six. Silo (10-1) is still at the top with Dale (11-1) placed No. 2.


Tushka (16-2) jumped one spot this week to third, while Calera (14-1) jumped two places from sixth to fourth this week. Latta fell from third to fifth and Colbert (15-5) slipped one spot to No. 6.


Other area baseball teams in the discussion include Kingston (9-3) at No. 9 in Class 3A; Rock Creek (7-4) slipping five spots to No. 17 in Class A; Boswell (7-4) holding firm at No. 13 in Class B and Coleman (3-8) slipping five spots to No. 20.


Falling out of the rankings this week were Caddo (4-5) and Caney (6-11).


In slow-pitch softball, Tushka’s unbeaten 16-0 record keeps them atop the Class 3A rankings. Caddo (4-8) slipped one spot to No. 20 this week.


In Class 4A softball, Silo (7-6) moved down one spot to No. 9, Calera (10-3) did the same from nine to 10, while Colbert (1-4) fell out of the top 20 this week.


In Class 2A, Rock Creek (4-4) jumped one spot to No. 11. In Class A, Bennington (7-2) slipped from nine to 10 while Caney (4-5) lost their spot in the top 20.


Durant Lady Lions soccer continues to make waves as they moved up a notch from ninth to eighth place in the Class 5A rankings. The Lady Lions are 6-1 so far this season.
