CALERA - The Calera Bulldogs made quick work of Bennington on Friday with a 10-0 win in four innings.
Chase Hamilton took the mound for Calera and pitched four innings, allowed two hits with three strikeouts. Hamilton threw 35 strikes and 23 balls . Rylee Barton and Shawn Harper both has RBI’s. Dakota Jackson and Brayden Langley each had 3 RBIs apiece. Jesse Collett finished with 2 RBIs.
The Bulldogs didn’t waste anytime and went up on Bennington, 4-0, in the first inning. Then they added runs in the second inning and third inning to take a 6-0 lead. Calera put the game away in the fourth inning when four more crossed the plate.
Calera scored 10 runs on seven hits and left six men on base.
