Charles Lee James, 80, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in Bedford. He was born Oct. 4, 1932 in Durant, Ok. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bellevue Baptist Church in Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville.He served in the U.S. Army after graduating from Cobb High School.
Preceded in death: Parents - Charles Luther James and Leona James.
Survivors: His loving wife, Tahwahnah Wellis James; daughters, Tahrahn Burris and husband, Ronnie, and Shawnda Singletary and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Weston, Ronda, Amy and Dara; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jaxon and Kaelyn; one brother; three sisters; and a host of other family and friends. Siblings: Brother - Bill James of Walde, TX., Sisters: Dorethe Gordan of Durant, Ok., Betty Sullivan of Birmingham, Ok., Mary James of Dallas, Tx.
