Johnnie Lee Webb a lifelong resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away in Denison, Texas on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the age of 75 years 10 months and 20 days. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 6, 1937 to Thomas J. and Myrtle (Grant) Griffin. Johnnie Griffin married Mike Webb in Durant, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 28, 1952.
Johnnie was a member of the Baptist Faith. She loved to create things with her hands by sewing or doing crafts. She also enjoyed reading. Her dogs Princess and Buddy were especially precious to her. But more than anything else Johnnie loved her family and the times they spent together.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her; husband, Mike Webb of the home; son, Billy Webb and wife Bonnie of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters, Brenda Webb of Milburn, Oklahoma, Beverly Meade and husband Carl of Durant, Oklahoma and Angela Welborn and husband David of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Matt Webb and wife Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ryan Webb and wife Yvette of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Joshua Weaver and wife Kim of Milburn, Oklahoma, Hollie Peace and husband Kevin of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Kevin Adams and wife D’Lynn of Flower Mound, Texas, Chase Stafford and wife Elizabeth of Durant, Oklahoma, Kody Adams and wife Kayla of Durant, Oklahoma, Colin Stafford and wife Elaina of Durant, Oklahoma, Cassie Meade of Durant, Oklahoma, Zaylee Meade of Durant, Oklahoma and Sean Welborn and wife Brandy of Paris, Texas; brothers, Bill Griffin and wife Pearline of Garland, Texas and Alvin Griffin and wife Fay of Garland, Texas; sister, Frances Grant of Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Myrtle Griffin; sister, Helen Griffin.
Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Bro. Terrell Suggs officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Webb, Ryan Webb, Joshua Weaver, Kevin Adams, Kody Adams, Chase Stafford, Colin Stafford and Landon Weaver.
