Melissa Marksberry of Achille and Douglas Hannickel of Denison, Texas, will wed on Oct. 19 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Denison.
Melissa is the daughter of Carl and Lou Marksberry of Achille. Her grandparents are the late Edmond and Kathleen Wingfield of Achille and the late Glen H. “Jack” Evans and Billie “Bill Evans of Denison. She was a 1991 graduate of Achille High School and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2007.
Doug is the son of Darrell and Etta Hannickel of Denison. His grandparents are the late Jacob and Dorothy Hannickel of Fresno, California, and the late Patrick and Emma Murphy of Tishomingo. He was a 1986 graduate of Wagoner High School and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1992.
They will make their home in Denison after a trip to Branson, Missouri.
