Robert Lee Haney was born in Gainesville, TX. to Joyce Neal Haney and Bobby Haney on May 22, 1970 and departed this life in Hot Springs, Arkansas on November 10, 2012.
He is survived by his loving family. His wife Gerrie Rae Ashmore Haney of Hot Springs, Arkansas. His daughters, Sierra Kovash and her husband Duncan of Durant, OK. and Jessica of Yukon, OK. His son Paul of Yukon, OK. His brother, Tim Haney and his children Kelsey, Ella and Hudson of Denison, TX. His parents Joyce and Bobby Haney of Caney, OK. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Robert graduated high School at Boswell, OK. and attended Southeastern Oklahoma University in Durant, OK. He spent much of his adult life as an entrepreneur including building and remodeling homes and sawmilling. He had worked for Pioneer Drilling Company as derrick man, mostly in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
He loved his children and life in general. A memorial service will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home, Durant, OK. on Friday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m.
