Services for Annie Elizabeth Burt, 64, of Hendrix, who died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, in the Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, Yuba. Bro. Marty Hutchings will officiate.

Annie was born Monday, April 2, 1945, in Yuba to Jess and Hazel (Grider) Branch. She married Andrew Burt on July 12, 1961. She worked as a seamstress for Levi Strauss for many years. She also worked as a cook for Yuba School about nine years ago. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Ricky Wayne Burt and Jessie Andrew Burt, and grandson Ricky Wayne Burt II.

Annie is survived by her husband, Yuba; daughter Shirley Howard and husband Danny, Albany; sister Connie Pierson and husband Royce, Colbert; brothers Danny Branch and wife Obie, Racho Cucamonga, Calif., and Jessie Branch, Denison, Texas; grandsons Michael Howard and wife Amy, Daniel Howard and wife Angie, and Ty Burt; granddaughters Tabitha Hunter, Kristy Howard and Casey Weger, Elizabeth Burt and Lacey Burt; great-grandsons Justin, Dalton, Landon, Jared, Trenton and Da Quaine; great-granddaughters Macey and Journi; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Burial will be in Yarnaby Cemetery, Yarnaby, with Michael Howard, Daniel Howard, Ty Burt, Casey Weger, Everett Burt, Terry Howard, Royce Pierson, Jr., James Ervin and Randy Smith serving as pallbearers.
