The Three Valley Museum has an exhibit on display this week to honor fallen soldiers of the war on terror.
The exhibit, named Remember Our Fallen is focused on the fallen soldiers from Oklahoma. The exhibit, on display from the Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum, opened in Durant Sunday after 2 p.m.
State Representative and veteran Dustin Roberts spoke about the sacrifice and dedication not only for the country, but Oklahoma itself.
This exhibit will be at the museum until Friday afternoon. The exhibit displays the photos, names and deaths of 100 fallen soldiers that call Oklahoma home.
Several of these soldiers were from the Bryan County area and one resided in Durant. A photo of local Brady J. Rudolf is part of the display.
Rudolf’s family still resides in Durant and a memorial has been placed for him at Durant High School. Several others like Rudolf are memorialized in this exhibit.
Guests are free to write notes to place on the exhibit to honor those they loved and those who sacrificed their lives.
