LeFlore County won’t erect 10 Commandments on lawn
POTEAU (AP) — LeFlore County will not erect a Ten Commandments monument on its courthouse lawn, with commissioners believing that spending money on a lawsuit they “probably couldn’t win” wasn’t a good use of taxpayer dollars. Firefighters put out attic, tree and grass fires
Durant firefighters have snuffed out several fires during the past few days. At 7:22 a.m. Monday, they were dispatched to 524 N. 12th Ave. to investigate smoke.
