Main Street holds 17th annual banquet

The Durant Main Street Program held its 17th annual Main Street Banquet to recognize all those who make the program possible.Guests enjoyed a barbecue dinner and an educational presentation by Kelly Yadon of the Oklahoma Main Street Program.Yadon spoke on the subject of marketing small businesses to different generations. She emphasized the ideas of using social media to reach customers.The many volunteer committees that support the Durant Main Street Program were recognized for their efforts this year.Committees include the design committee, economic restructuring committee, promotion committee and organizational committee.
