A service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Denison, Texas, for Doris "Dolly" Wright, 75, Colbert, who died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. The Rev. Virgie Holbrook will officiate.

The daughter of Earl Owens and Winnie Hazelwood Owens-Brown, she was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Southmayd, Texas.

She graduated from Southmayd High School in 1946. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She married Jimmy Wright April 13, 1947, in Sherman, Texas.

Preceding her in death were her parents, son David Mark Wright and one brother, Jamie Owens.

Survivors include her husband of the home, son Steve Wright, Colbert; daughters Pamela Griffin, Denison, Trisha Fralicks, Colbert; brother Jerry Brown, Sherman; sister Betty Capehart, Whitesboro, Texas, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Ronnie Fralicks, Phillip Griffin, Shane Griffin, Sean Pace, Jim Eldredge and John McKee serving as pallbearers.
