DURANT - A proposed school bond issue which failed to pass in the Rock Creek School District this week was originally reported by the Durant Daily Democrat as having passed.

The Durant Daily Democrat is responsible for reporting the error.

The proposed bond issue was rejected by 298 voters (63.54 percent), with 171 voters (36.46 percent) supporting the proposal during Tuesday's annual school election in which proposed bond issues in two other county school districts also failed to pass.
