Grandpa’s Neighbors will be performing for Music on Market Square (MOMS) at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Grandpa’s Neighbors is a mother-daughter group that base out of Bennington. The girls play guitar, bass, mandolin, autoharp and fiddle. Grandpa’s Neighbors sing in a style reminiscent of the country churches that were the backbone of every community in rural America.

Their truth-filled messages always point back to Jesus, the source of their strength. The inspiring, moving and often witty lyrics encourage both the mind and the soul. Their tight harmony is sweet and simple, not taking away from the message of the song and blessing anyone who appreciates music.

The weekly Thursday night concerts at Market Square, located at First and Evergreen, are free. Those attending are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
