Alex Johnson and Casey Powers are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Alex is the daughter of Ann Johnson and the late David Johnson, both of Waco, TX. She is the granddaughter of William and Lolita Johnson of Durant and the late Jimmy Anderson and the late Martha May Lipsius, both of Wilmington, NC. She is a 2004 graduate of Durant High School, 2007 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and 2009 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling. Casey is the son of the Honorable Rocky Powers of Durant and Linda Powers of Durant. He is the grandson of Dr. Pat and Loeta Powers, James and Caroline Lee, and the late Betty Lee, all from Durant, OK. He is a 2001 graduate of Durant High School, 2005 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and 2008 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling. The couple will be wed in October.
