Bryan County Safety Director Clarence Bruce gave safety achievement awards to six county employees Thursday.
Bruce said that the county recognizes those county employees that go accident free. This year’s recipients were John C. Kidman, Jason A. Bannowsky, John L. Bates, Kenneth L. Bise, Dorothy J. Dixon and Terri L. McGinnis.
Kidman and Bannowski received awards for five years accident free. Bates received his for 10 years accident free. Bise, Dixon and McGinnis have gone 15 years accident free.
Each person received an award and a $20 gift card to Walmart. “It’s not much,” said Bruce, but the county wanted to give them something to show its recognition.
