Billy Joe Hutchinson was born on October 18, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma to Wilson and Corrine Roach Hutchinson and passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2012 at the age of 57 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Billy Joe married Linda Kay Hutchinson on August 15, 1974. They were married 38 years. He lived his whole life in Durant and he graduated from Durant Schools. He worked at Champion Coolers for ten years and then went to work for Southeastern Electric Coop, where he was presently working. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and friends. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Billy Joe is survived by his wife Linda Kay Hutchinson; son Billy Ray Hutchinson and wife Bambi; daughter Donna Hutchinson; grandsons, Zackry, Zane and Trapper Hutchinson, Jesse Hutchings and Chasien and Zade Simes; granddaughters, Hannah and Tesla Hutchinson and Jayden and Jazlynn Hutchings; brothers, Larry and Roy Hutchinson; sisters Ann Smith and husband James, Sue and Mike Sims, Betty and Dave Cross and Lynda Jane and husband Leslie Clampett; brother in laws Jerry Williams and James Williams and wife Barbara and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy Joe was preceded in death by his parents Wilson and Corrine Hutchinson; mother and father in law Ray and Mildred Williams, sisters in law Glenda Jo Hutchinson and Lenna Hutchinson and niece Cindy Hutchinson.

A celebration of Billy Joe’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Jesse Farrell will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be the lineman at Southeastern Electric Cooperative Dale Boyd, Jeff Angel, Brian Phillips, Dustin Stepp, Brandon Lyles, Leith Burkhalter, Mike Green, Eric Dunegan, Chance Sinor and Jason Whitaker and Manager Larry Speaks and Assistant Manager James Fox. He loved and cared for these men that he called his boys. He was always concerned about them till he went to be with the Lord. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
