The Durant High School cross country boys and girls teams competed in the class 5A Regional Meet at Norman last Saturday.

The boys, ranked 9^th in the state on October 1st, placed 3^rd as a team and the girls placed 5^th as a team to earn the privilege of competing in the 5A Cross Country State Meet to be held Saturday the 27^th at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

The last time Durant qualified for state as a boys and girls team was 2006. Last year, Kathryn Prentice and Alberto Vazquez represented DHS as individual runners in the state meet.

Boys: 5K-Total of 129 runners-

These cross country runners are great kids and have come a long way in the last few years. Coach Reynolds and Coach Bokies are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication the runners have shown to the team this year!
