Homer Lewis Ricks was born in Headrick, Ok August 15, 1928 to H.V. and Vonnie Ricks. He graduated from Bokchito High School in 1946. After high school he spent 6 years in Korea and Japan as paratrooper for the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Doris, sons Marshall and Warren Ricks of Texas, brothers Bill and Pat Ricks and sisters Darlene Gauthier and Dorothy Comiskey. Services 2:00 pm November 23, 2012 at Lake Shore Funeral Chapel Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Homer was a hard worker who was highly respected, deeply loved and forever remembered.
