The Durant Police Department has received a significant amount of reports of bank fraud over the past two days. These reports indicate that credit card and/or debit card numbers have been compromised which leads to unauthorized withdrawals from the card holder’s account.

Police are in close contact with the local banks and the victims to help determine the point of the compromise.

Police are asking residents to closely watch their bank accounts for any signs of fraudulent activity and contact law enforcement if they believe they are a victim.

The Durant Police Department in conjunction with the Secret Service White Collar Crimes Task Force is vigilantly working the investigation.

Some people have no conscience. I couldn't do somebody that way. Have had it done to me a few times. I know it feels. Lowlife scumbags.
