A call about smoke in a backyard resulted in the fire department being dispatched to a home where a trailer full of trash was on fire.
Firefighters were dispatched at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday to 622 N. Third Ave. and upon arrival one minute later, they found they discovered the trailer on fire. Firefighters put out the fire which was contained to the trailer.
The cause of the fire was not determined. The residence, owned by Daniel Hendrickson, was not damaged.s
