Connie (Rawson) Allen went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2012, at the age of 62.
She had a myriad of medical problems, and her positive attitude has been an inspiration to everyone who crosses her path. It is very difficult to be in constant pain and put a smile on your face, but that was our Connie. She did not want “her illness” to make others uncomfortable.
She is survived by a daughter, Tiffany (Wood) Ahmed, son-in-law, Sherif Ahmed, one granddaughter Marissa Carter, step-daughter Rhonda (Wood) Salinas, step-son Anthony Wood, mother Leta and step-father Tom rader, sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Dale Shoemake, brother, David Rawson, niece, Nicole Sparks and nephew, Shawn Sparks. She is survived by friends at Durant Dialysis, and numerous friends and relatives.
She graduated from Dibble High School, and then moved to Moore, Okla. She later moved to Lake Texoma where she and her mom opened Texoma Hair Designs in 1986.
A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, Kingston, Okla., on January 5, 2013 at 2 p.m.
