Alice and Wayne Turner
December 25, 1952 - 60 years
Alice was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and moved to Arlington, Texas her senior year in high school. Wayne was born in Bryan County, Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Air Force, and moved to Arlington, Texas where he and Alice were married. The Turners have served in the ministry of several Baptist churches throughout Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Georgia. For the past 16 years they have successfully built their own company, Heartland Home Developers, as custom home builders. They have 3 children: Kathy Stevenson, and her husband, John of Suwanee, Georgia; Donna Nichols, and her husband, Ken of Durham, North Carolina; and Bob Turner, and his wife, Sonya of Rockmart, Georgia. Alice and Wayne celebrated their anniversary in December with family members at a cabin resort in the hills of Tennessee.
