Eula Mae Walls a resident of Bennington, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the age of 88 years 2 months and 24 days. She was born in Chickasaw, Oklahoma to Jack and Esther Lillian (Cross) Caldwell on Sunday, November 2, 1924. Eula married Fritz Walls in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday, October 14, 1940.
Eula Mae was a longtime faithful member of the Bennington Baptist Church. She was very interested in other people and loved to travel. Eula Mae always had a bountiful garden that she canned and cooked from. She enjoyed her dogs and going fishing. Eula Mae had a caring heart and was always helping others. But more than anything else she loved and cherished her family.
Mrs. Walls is survived by her son, Butch Walls and wife Becky of Bennington, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ray Walls and wife Jeanne of Silo, Oklahoma, Kari Walls of Ada, Oklahoma, Vicky Malone and husband Rick of Bennington, Oklahoma, Diana Borchardt of Denison, Texas and Jason Walls of Bennington, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, K.C. and Kash Walls of Silo, Oklahoma, Aaron Hess of Denison, Texas, Kayle and Austin Malone of Bennington, Oklahoma and Allen and Brody Williams of Ada, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Thrasher of Wright City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ester Lillian Caldwell; husband, Fritz Walls; brother, Boyd Caldwell; sister-in-law, Nelma Caldwell; in-laws, Jess and Inez Walls.
Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Bennington First Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Harp officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokchito Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Walls, Jason Walls, Tony Goolsby and Jason Butterfield. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Crocker.
