Funeral services for Evelyn Lois Campbell will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Boswell, OK with Pastor Gene Witt officiating and burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK. Evelyn passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013, in Boswell, OK, at the age of 93.

Evelyn Lois Campbell was born June 18, 1919, in Sumner, Texas, to C.V. and Georgia Lee (Moore) Parson. She married Ervin Campbell on October 27, 1941, in Tucson, AZ. Evelyn was a member of the Boswell First Baptist Church all of her life, and the Royal Gleeners – her Sunday School Class. She was a devoted wife and mother, a pillar of the community. She devoted her life to caring for her family, especially her only daughter who they discovered had polio at the age of seventeen. Evelyn was a confident to many, and she always had the right words. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linnie Joy “Lynn” Campbell; parents, “Cheesie” and Georgia Lee Parson; two sisters, Hope Tillerson and Zoe McDade; one brother, Buddy Parson.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 71 years Ervin Campbell of Boswell, OK; two sisters, Joy Martindale and husband Tom of Muskogee, OK and Betty Ann Crowe and husband Bill of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Ava Lee Parson of Fort Worth, TX; a host of nieces and nephews, along with other relatives.
