Bryan County Commissioners getting to work on their agenda

The Bryan County Commissioners held a special meeting on Friday and approved a number of items on their agenda.

Commissioners approved a hearing request to open Wilson and Folsom road 1,330 feet North in Section 10-6-8. The hearing was scheduled for an August 9 meeting at 9 a.m.

Commissioners approved an agreement for the provision of inmate health services at the Bryan County Jail with Advanced Correction Health Care Incorporated.

A property lease agreement was approved for a tower between Joe and Betty Colclazier and Bryan County.

Commissioners approved for a Motorola two-way radio for district one to be taken off inventory and junked. The radio malfunctioned.

Commissioners denied a tort claim from Samantha Dalrympie for damage to her vehicle.

In other business, commissioners approved a contract with Cleveland County Regional Detention Center.
