OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Early voting for Tuesday’s statewide primary election has kicked off.

Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax says registered voters who want to cast their ballots early can do so today, Saturday or Monday in all 77 counties.

Voters must cast their early votes in the county where they are registered. Early voting will take place between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. today and Monday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Ziriax says early voting is a convenient alternative for a voter who for some reason can’t make it to their polling place on election day. He says it’s also a nice option for voters who simply don’t want to wait until Tuesday.
