Tony Dean Rodgers a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 in Denison, Texas at the age of 52 years 11 months and 29 days. He was born in Durant, Oklahoma on Saturday, January 30, 1960 to Lester Ray and Neva Velleta (Newkirk) Rodgers. Tony married Nancy Dellinger in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, November 20, 1985.

Tony liked to explore and discover old fossil; he also enjoyed fishing. He was good with his hands and liked to tinker with cars, motorcycles and boats. Tony loved motorcycling and traveling. He mostly enjoyed just being with his family.

Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife, Nancy Rodgers of the home; daughter, Misty Foster and boy friend Jason Shay of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Matt Rodgers and girlfriend Cassy Wells of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Blake Foster of Durant, Oklahoma, Macy and Makayla Shay of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Jessie Rodgers and wife Rita of Durant, Oklahoma, Corky Rodgers and wife Carolyn of Calera, Oklahoma, Frank Rodgers and wife Linda of Irving, Texas and Jim Rodgers and wife Linda of Caldwell, Idaho; mother and father-in-law, Carl and Willa Dellinger; brother-in-law, Rick Dellinger of Durant, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Neva Rodgers; nephew, Robert Rodgers.

Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Buddy Manners officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Robinson, Sonny Stewart, A.J. Foster, James Rodgers, Steve Rodgers, Rick Dellinger, Chappy Chapman and Shelby Rice. Honorary Pallbearers are B.J. Grider, Don Ray, Lloyd Russell, David Tomlinson, Joey Tomlinson,Philip Aplin, Rusty Parr and David Turner.
