Teddy Eugene Richardson was born September 25, 1938 in Caney, Oklahoma to William and Allie (Jason) Richardson and passed from this life on February 12, 2013 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Teddy graduated from Durant High School and later proudly served his Country in the United States Army from 1958-1964. Teddy married Audrita Okeling in 1962 and they lived in New Orleans, Louisiana where he worked for SW Bell Telephone until his retirement when he moved to Durant. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and anything else to do with the outdoors. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Alison White; four brothers and five sisters. Teddy is survived by his wife Audrita Richardson of Covington, LA.; son Philip Richardson and wife Sheri of New Orleans, LA.; daughter Rebecca Rome and husband Cliff of Donaldsonville, LA.; sister Sandra Chamblee and husband Harrel of Dallas, TX; brother in law Wayne Jordan of Durant, OK; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Teddy will be interred in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
