Arthur “AJ” Pecinovsky was born September 12, 1929 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Arthur and Amelia Farek Pecinovsky and passed away on February 17, 2013 in Mead, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

AJ graduated Valedictorian from Caddo High School and later proudly served his Country in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for the United States Postal Service and retired after 30 years of service. AJ has been a lifelong resident of Bryan County, a member of the Mead Church of Christ and the VFW.

AJ was preceded in death by his parents.

AJ is survived by his son Ronnie Pecinovsky of St. Louis, Missouri; sister Janet Van Guilder of Mountain, Wisconsin; nephew Robert Harmon of Punta Gorda, Florida; grandchildren Angela Anthony and Matthew Pecinovsky; great grandchildren Mackanzie Oschia, Seth Oschia, Annie Oschia and Ida Pecinovsky and companion of 46 plus years Josephine Grimaudo of Mead, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at the Mead Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant, Oklahoma.
