There were 823 new Covid-19 cases in Bryan County for the week ending January 18, according to Julie Montgomery of the Bryan County Health Department. Five days later, on January 23, using the county information base, the New York Times Covid Tracker reported an average of 123 new cases a day, “the highest they have ever been.” That is a 217% increase during the preceding two weeks.
