Crabtree resigns as Southeastern baseball coach

After seven years at the helm, Southeastern head baseball coach Zach Crabtree announced his resignation last week in order to pursue opportunities at his high school alma mater at Colbert. Athletic director Keith Baxter pointed to the success of Crabtree, who was just the fourth head coach in the history of the program when he took over the reins in 2017. He followed in the success of coaching legends Mike Metheny, Don “Doc” Parham and Bloomer Sullivan.

Silo baseball heads to 22nd straight spring state

Even with the move to Class 3A this season, the Silo Rebels punched their ticket for the spring state baseball tournament for the 22nd straight year with a dominant sweep of Oklahoma Christian School in Super Regional action last week.

Silo, Calera baseball advance; Caddo ends season

Storm walks off ECU on Senior Day

Leave it to a senior to provide the walk off heroics against an arch rival on Senior Day. Cameron Cromer did just that on Saturday for Southeastern as his final hit for the Savage Storm was a seventh inning solo home run over the right field wall that gave the hosts a 3-2 win over East Central.

DHS baseball sweeps Edison to wrap up district

A solid district sweep of Tulsa Edison to wrap up the regular season secured the Durant Lions the fifth seed out of District 5A-4 in the Class 5A state baseball playoffs that begin this week. With the 4-1 and 12-2 victories, the Lions improved their record to 17-16 on the season, their first winning record in a regular season since 2017.
