Williams signs college basketball offer in Spain

Durant boys basketball scoring leader Tashaun Williams will have the opportunity to continue his playing career overseas after a solid career for the Lions. The DHS senior recently inked a scholarship offer from the College for International Studies in Madrid, Spain.

Caddo works new system in spring football

A new coach and new system got off to a fast start at Caddo as the Bruins finished up spring football drills last week. New head coach Chad Speer was extremely excited about what we saw from the returnees as well as several newcomers that will have a great opportunity to step in immediately.

Durant basketball pair sign scholarships

A pair of Durant senior basketballers recently signed scholarship offers to continue their careers at four-year colleges in Oklahoma. Lady Lion Abrianna Freeman inked with Northwestern Oklahoma State University while the Lions’ Leon Stone signed on with Southwestern Christian University in Bethany.

85th Annual Durant PRCA Rodeo this weekend

It’s once again rodeo time in Bryan County as the 85th Annual Durant Riding Club event presented by Discover Durant is slated to take place Friday and Saturday at the arena on South 9th Street in Durant.
